In-Store Application Process

The most common application process that you might already be familiar with is the in-store application. As the name suggests, you can simply walk into one of our stores and ask for assistance on how to apply for a plan. You can also book an appointment through phone. You simply need to contact a reliable Vodafone outlet near you.

How It Works

Once your appointment is set, the staff will be there to accommodate your needs and specifications. Don’t be afraid to ask questions if you ever have some. You will also be asked a series of questions to determine which phone plan will suit your business best.

If you are on a budget, for instance, we can recommend plans that can be paid over a 36-month spread. The monthly cost would not be so heavy, and at the same time, your staff still get to enjoy quality devices with excellent plans that can support their work tasks. If you have a phone brand preference, we also have a list of brands that you can choose from. You can take your pick from any of the brands and move on to the next step in the process.

Online Application Process

It can be hard to go to physical stores nowadays. Fortunately, there are application options that do not require you to take a single step out of your home or offices. If you want convenience and ease, you can always apply for Vodafone plans online.

How It Works

You can browse authorised Vodafone websites that are based in the area. Vodafone Business Centre West (VBC West), for instance, is an accredited plan provider that caters to businesses and individuals all over Victoria. But it also serves businesses in Western Australia, South Australia, NSW, and Queensland.

Once you have chosen a trusted plan provider, you can go over their online plan pages and make an enquiry. Expect to get a response in an instant. That is the beauty of online application.

What You’ll Need

Whether you are applying in-store or online, you will need to bring a few documents to support your application. There are many options that you can choose from if you wish to become a Vodafone business customer. The first step is to choose the appropriate plan. How?

You need to know the exact status of your business to determine which plan is right. There’s no need to fret if you are unsure of your business status. You will be assisted by a Vodafone Business Specialist who can run assess which plan is best for your business right now.

For businesses that are established in the past 6 months:

If you just started your business in the past 6 months, you will need to bring either complete ABN or ACN documents.

ABN Documentation:

  • ABN
  • The business name associated with your ABN
  • 100 points of ID
  • Your personal details such as your name, DOB, and business address

ACN Documentation:

  • ACN
  • Your entity name as listed with ASIC and your trading name (if you have one)
  • 100 points of ID
  • Your business contact details and your name
  • If transferring phone numbers, present a copy of the most recent bill from your current provider

You can choose to present one or the other. But aside from these documents, you will also be required to present some proof of trading. The proof can be a recent bank statement with all the trading transactions you have made, including income from sales, wages paid, etc.

Since your business is still starting out, you also have the option to present a recent copy of your personal bank statement.

For businesses that already have an ABN:

Sole traders, partnerships, and trusts are businesses that have an ABN. If such is the case, then your business account will be registered under your name. Bring your ABN documents (as listed above) if you are applying in-store, or you may also submit the scanned documents online.

There are slight requirement changes for trust. In addition to the ABN, the personal details of the trustee will also be needed. This includes information like their full name, date of birth, and address.

For businesses that already have an ABN & an ACN:

For businesses that have both an ABN and an ACN, the phone plan account will be listed under the company entity name. Company directors will have to bring complete ACN documents (as listed above). For those who are representing the company, they will need to bring a Letter of Authority (LOA) to support their intent to apply as a business customer.

LOAs should clearly state the name and address of the authorised representative, the specific number of services required, and intent to apply through the representative.

For a more comprehensive assistance, it is best to get in touch with a staff online. They will help you navigate through the things you need to submit and how and where to submit them. They will also guide you in choosing a phone plan that matches your business needs.
